THE FIVE PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS- BY DR. CHRIS MAUKI ON HIS PUBLIC LECTURE AT TUMAINI UNIVERSITY DAR ES SALAAM

Dr. Chris Mauki, an expert in psychology and relationships states the five PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS in his public lecture at Tumaini University this Friday, earlier at 10am-11am to be:

1. LIFE IS NOT ABOUT BUILDING LARGE FINANCIAL CAPITAL BUT BUILDING LARGE SOCIAL CAPITAL.

In this principle Dr. Chris identifies that SUCCESS can not Only be brought with the High capital you have but the level of quality people you know and associate yourself with. Know the right people in the industry you are in who will motivate and boost your boundary.

2. EXPLORE THE TALENT WITHIN YOU EARLY AND DEVELOP IT

A person should identify the TALENT they have but also develop the talent by adding extra skills that will build consistence in what they do. A person should not be satisfied with the little knowledge he/She has. "The great richest places are the graves because people do die with their dreams and ideas" Chris Mauki added.

3. MEET YOUR TARGET, BE FOCUSED AND CARE ABOUT TIME

A person should fullfill his/her responsibility and be answerable to the choices they made out of their freedom granted. Focus is also important in the target you set. "Goals without time are just wishes" Chris Mauki also added.

4. DON'T WASTE TIME WAITING FOR EMPLOYMENT BUT SEARCH FOR AN OPPORTUNITY THAT WILL SOLVE EMPLOYMENT PROBLEM

The world is surrounded by various problems, out of such problems one can find an OPPORTUNITY to SOLVE the problem and derive it into a source of income which can then employ others. A person should be able to utilise the knowledge they have so as to build something productive. "Education is not what you write in the paper but what is in the head, it is what you invest in your mind which will determine what comes out of your mouth." He added.

5. ELIMINATE THOSE WHO DESPISE YOU, WHO THINK YOU ARE FAILURE AND EMBRACE THOSE WHO LEAD YOUR WAYS OUT OF LOVE

Self-confidence is vital and a person should believe in their dreams, visions and tagets in life to achieve.

Dr. Chris Mauki is also a lecturer at University of Dar es Salaam in Psychology, a motivational speaker in parenting, relationship and enterpreneurship.

"If you will not marry your talent with skills it is pointless to gain authority."
